|
Abstract |
| Responds to the critique by J. Patterson and J. E. Scherger of D. R. Crane's original article concerning changes as part of health care reform and their impact on marriage and family therapy. Systemic therapy ideas have been and will continue to be influential in developing effective forms of therapy. Many of the forces behind the increased costs of health care (e.g., crime, divorce, family disruption) are also increasing the demand for all kinds of therapy services. The demand for services will continue to grow. | |
